I think it is illuminating to understand the times we are experiencing.
"Soon we will have to choose our representatives in Parliament. Entrust to them, after all, much of the fate of the beautiful country. I have no doubt that readers of the rudder to gauge which of the two sides give their vote. Whatever your preference, everyone, including myself, we know that the "good fight" for the evangelization of our people continues. Trusting prayer, personal development and concrete action, carried out in places where we live and with the resources we have, our weapons are, the more efficient the more we trust in the help of Providence, which will be appropriate to ask damaging the work of those forces that oppose God's plan is not crowned by the success elettorale.Per form an opinion, it will be useful - I think - to consider a fact. E 'undeniable attempt to further transform the society in which we live. To introduce something that had never been seen before. It aims to increase the degree of de-Christianization already so high in our country. Let me be clear: it is a task, this, that does not arise now, whose roots are often highlighted by our monthly date back to ancient times. But these days the process of "revolutionary" seems to intensify, invigorate, make decisive news. Which, if implemented, will change the way we live. That, for example, to recognize the equal dignity to both the traditional family, designed by the Creator and rooted in natural law, the so-called "de facto couples." That other that it intends to treat the family made man and woman united by the bond of marriage that provides for specific rights and obligations, the so-called "family" (the quotation marks is a must), homosexual, or lesbian, consisting of two men or two women. Which, of course, will have the opportunity to adopt children (not yet able to do it) and educate them in their own way. A third, which aims to promote the "right" to successfully remove the terminally ill, elderly desperate, more or less willing, with the legalization of euthanasia. Other news, then, are promised in the defense of life, with plans to extend the "right" to suppress innocent human beings. Maybe using an abortion pill, readily available in pharmacies or, why not, at the supermarket. In short, family and life are the fields where the battle rages more. And on which, to me personally, I'll measure my electoral preferences. The Church, thank God, will do its part. This condition, of course, so that certain political forces to "restrict the right of our pastors to express views in matters concerning the common good. Worse, someone goes so far as to demand the abolition of the Concordat between the Holy See and the State. Outside the Church of Italy, openly claim that their faith would not influence their daily life, is relegated to the conscience, imprisoned in the silence of life privata. In short, I see that some political forces, if they win, they propose to build a society new. With innovations that have targeted the plan of God, the Gospels and guarded by the Church. Just what we Catholics we want to promote the true good of our neighbor. Do not know about you, dear readers, but before you choose I will take this into account. And I do not miss the fact that these innovations are crippling their stronger support in the party program that lines up in the center-left. I take note. "
